Amavi Villas

The Project
A Mediterranean residential retreat in Katakolo, Ilia, where Greek vernacular forms meet the warmth and cultivated ease of the Tuscan countryside.
The development draws on the shared Mediterranean language of western Greece and rural Tuscany: lime-toned walls, terracotta roofs, deep arches, natural stone and shaded loggias compose a relaxed sequence of houses within the olive landscape.
Inside, exposed timber, pale oak, woven fibres and honed stone create a warm, tactile interior language. Kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms remain closely connected to gardens, pergolas and pools, turning every threshold into part of daily life outdoors.
Veni. Vidi. Amavi.
A contemporary retreat rooted in the rhythm of Greek summer.

We Came. We Saw. We Loved Greece.
The concept turns that sentiment into architecture: familiar Mediterranean forms are distilled rather than copied, then paired with quiet contemporary interiors and a tactile palette drawn from the surrounding landscape.
Every threshold is part of the experience — from the shaded arrival and arched window to the pool terrace at sunset — creating a seamless dialogue between house, garden and horizon.
